Well it’s more like the sidewalk than the road to be exact. None the less, this Tuesday we are happy to be packing some of our newest wears inside a few vintage trunks and suitcases and taking them just a few steps down the block to our Uptown friends over at the Dyckman Bar. Coming for the trip is our favorite DJ, the one and only CHARLIE BROWN, master of the rare classics that you need to hear.  In collaboration with Buzy Girl of Endless Noise NYC(CLICK IT) we are proud to be the premier designers for her new Trunk Show Tuesdays’s Series which will feature only the best brands and designers, bringing real fashion to the realest neighborhood…UPTOWN!

The essence of Nostylgia is about more than mere looks. Not only do we embody the classic style of the past but we continue to revive a sensibility based on quality and value in everything we do; IT’S THE NOSTYLGIA WAY!  In line with this mantra and a perfect addition to the rest of our Uptown Preparatory collection, inspired by the classic varsity letter sweater, our reversible cardigan is the model of value and versatility. An American tradition continues. After all the fun had at last month’s yard sale we couldn’t contain ourselves for long.  If you came out last time you know the Nostylgia Yard Sale is like no other in terms of quality junk.  We’re always out picking, so get ready for the newest and best old stuff in town. .  It’s forecasted to be a beautiful weekend so see you all there.

Enrollment is now open and our 60′s inspired prep school apparel is now in store.  Taking a page from prep school doctrine when prescribed garments for all occasions existed, we recreated and updated a tight sampling of that time in lifestylgia.

For sport we have vintage-weight, hand screen printed t-shirts and raglan sweatshirts bearing the seal of our historic Uptown Preparatory  School and it’s shield of excellence. It’s symbols are worldly recognizable yet only locally truly understood.
